I wrote the song at a time when I was being overwhelmed by too many things and people were telling me that things wouldn't work out. I felt like I was chained up. When I first heard the beat, Houdini came to mind. Because as an illusionist, he could escape from his problems, and I feel like I do that with my music too. It's a way to escape for a moment.

An opinion about art is subjective, just like how we lead our lives. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it doesn't mean we have to follow that opinion. The same goes for this music video, it was a big project and sometimes I felt like giving up because so many things were going wrong.
